Nursing process is an organized, systematic and rational method of giving goal-oriented, humanistic care that’s both effective and efficient.  It is a series of steps that lead to accomplishing some goal or purpose in  care of patients.

Nursing process provides individualized, holistic, effective and efficient client care. Provides an orderly and systematic method for planning and providing care, Enhances nursing efficiency by standardising nursing practice and facilitates documentation of care.

This course is aimed at improving the Nursing care of patients in the hospital. The Nursing Council recommends that all hospitals should embrace the Nursing process in provision of care, hence making this course a requirement for every practising Nurse.

It is offered as a five (5) day course, theory and practical, at the Nurses place of work. Nyahururu MTC is one of the few colleges in Kenya approved by the Nursing Council as a Continuing Professional development (CPD) centre for this course.
